Why
I always wanted a site that lists every brewery in Franconia and has someone recommend you something. When I started working faster with AI it turned into something more personal: not just listing, but showing why I love this region so much, what I have experienced here, and writing it so that others want to come and experience it themselves.
Insight
Technically it is the same stack as Wagner Welten: Next.js, Vercel, Supabase, Google Maps. The difference is Fränki, a chatbot that speaks a little Franconian and runs on Grok. It is meant to do what a local at the bar would do: give a recommendation without you having to know what a Seidla is first. Plus a small merch shop at shop.findmyseidla.de.

- A dedicated entry point explains the words first: a Seidla is usually half a litre, a Bierkeller is often not a cellar but a seasonal outdoor tap, a Kärwa is a village or church fair.
- Fränki
- A chatbot that speaks a little Franconian and gives recommendations the way a local at the bar would. Runs on Grok.
- Three languages
- German, English and Spanish. The site explicitly addresses visitors who do not read German.
